Tokens and bonds are different things

This trips people up, so it is worth being blunt about it:

• Tokens are a website balance, at 50 tokens to $1. You spend them in the store and the goods are delivered in-game with ::claim. Tokens themselves never enter the game and cannot be traded.
• Bonds are an in-game item. Bonds - and only bonds - raise your donator rank.

So buying 5,000 tokens will not make you a donator. Buying a bond will.

The Fire of Exchange

Burn unwanted items on the Fire of Exchange for FOE Points, which buy permanent account perks. Quests hand in here too, rather than to an NPC. Type ::foe.

Making money

• Bossing - check the Bestiary for what is worth killing.
• Slayer, which sends you to profitable monsters you would otherwise skip.
• Skilling and the weekly leaderboards.
• Voting (::vote) and the daily login reward (::daily).
